Terms and Conditions

This Agreement is between a website visitor  ("Client") and George C. Stylianou Law Office ("the Attorney"), governing the use of the Attorney's services through its website. By accepting these Terms, the Client agrees to the Attorney's Privacy, Cookie, and Payment Policies.

General Terms

  • The Client consents to the Attorney handling the case and Compensation recovery.

  • The Client agrees not to pursue claims independently and must forward relevant case communications to the Attorney.

  • The Client can terminate the Agreement within 7 days unless action has already been taken.

  • The Client warrants no other claims are in progress.

Attorney's Duties

  • The Attorney will assist in Compensation recovery and update the Client on key developments.

  • The Client allows the Attorney to make decisions, including initiating legal proceedings.

Payment Terms

  • The Client only pays a  50% service fee if Compensation is successfully recovered.

  • Any non-monetary offers (vouchers) are considered a rejection of Compensation unless otherwise agreed.

Data Processing

  • The Attorney handles sensitive personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) . All personal data, including any special categories of personal data will be processed exclusively by George C. Stylianou Law Office.

  • Such data will only be shared with third parties directly involved in the Client's case, including:
    a) Relevant airlines against which claims are being made.
    b) Authorities or Courts if legal proceedings are initiated.

  • Additionally, personal data may be processed by WIX, the website provider, for hosting and technical purposes. While the Attorney ensures that WIX follows standard security protocols, George C. Stylianou Law Office is not responsible for any data breaches or security issues that arise from WIX’s processing of the Client’s personal data.

  • Clients should review WIX's own privacy and data protection practices for more information.

  • The Attorney takes reasonable measures to safeguard all personal data, but by using the website, the Client acknowledges the role of third-party providers in the processing of their data.

Governing Law

  • The governing law for these Terms and Conditions, as well as any agreements or legal relationships arising from or related to them, is the law of the Republic of Cyprus. All legal disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or in connection with the use of the website, services provided by George C. Stylianou Law Office, or these Terms and Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with Cyprus law.

  • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus. The Client agrees that any legal action or proceedings related to this Agreement must be brought before the competent courts in Cyprus, and waives any objection to the venue of such courts on the grounds of jurisdiction, venue, or inconvenience. This provision applies unless otherwise stated in a specific document satisfactory to George C. Stylianou Law Office.

  • In the event any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. If discrepancies arise between these Terms in different languages, the English version will prevail.
